PoundMart sells value bundles because buying the everyday essentials you'll use anyway in one go usually costs less per item, cuts down on top-up trips and means nobody finds an empty tube at 7am on a school day. When we checked in September 2026, our Nice Smile 12 pack worked out at £2.08 a tube, while single 60g tubes of Nice Smile cost between £7.45 and £9.99.
That's the headline. The rest of this guide shows the maths behind our value bundles, why variety matters as much as price, and (because honesty is part of the deal) the times a smaller pack is the better buy.
What are value bundles?
A value bundle is a set of everyday products packed and sold together for less per item than buying each one separately. At PoundMart, our bundles come in two types:
- Same-product multipacks, such as three bottles of XHC Argan Oil Shampoo, where you're simply stocking up on something you already use.
- Mixed bundles, such as the Nice Smile 12 pack of three fruity flavours, where you get variety as well as a lower price per tube.
Either way, the idea is the same: things you use every day shouldn't cost a premium just because you buy them one at a time.
Why PoundMart sells in bundles
1. A lower price per item
This is the big one. Packing and sending one parcel of twelve tubes costs less per tube than sending twelve separate parcels. Bundles let us pass that saving on, which is why, across most of our range, the price per item falls as the pack gets bigger.
2. Fewer trips and fewer orders
Toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner run out at the least convenient moments. A bundle turns lots of small, last-minute purchases into one planned one, and stops you paying convenience-shop prices in a pinch.
3. Variety without the extra cost
Our mixed bundles let a household try several flavours or scents without buying each one separately at single prices. More on that below.
4. Genuine products you can trust
A bundle is only a bargain if what's inside is the real thing. Every PoundMart bundle is packaged and quality-checked by our UK-based team, so you know exactly what you're getting. There's more on that promise below.
The maths: value bundles vs single items
Here's how the price per item changes across a few of our ranges. These are Amazon prices from when we checked in September 2026. Prices change, so always check the current listing.
| Product | Pack | Price | Price per item |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nice Smile Feelin' Grape | Single 60g tube | £7.45 | £7.45 |
| Nice Smile Watermelon Fresh | Single 60g tube | £7.95 | £7.95 |
| Nice Smile 3 Pack (Watermelon, Grape, Peach) | 3 × 60g | £12.99 | £4.33 |
| Nice Smile 12 Pack | 12 × 60g | £24.95 | £2.08 |
| XHC No Rinse Conditioner | Single 250ml | £7.99 to £8.99 | £7.99 to £8.99 |
| XHC No Rinse Conditioner 3 Pack | 3 × 250ml | £17.99 | £6.00 |
Two things jump out. First, the 12 pack brings the cost of a tube down to roughly a quarter of the single price. Second, buying the three XHC No Rinse Conditioner scents separately (£8.99 + £7.99 + £7.99) would have cost £24.97, against £17.99 for the 3 pack. That's a saving of £6.98, or about 28%.

Variety is part of the value
Price per item is only half the story. A bundle nobody enjoys using isn't good value at any price.
That's why our toothpaste bundles mix flavours. The Nice Smile 12 Pack includes four tubes each of Watermelon Fresh, Feelin' Grape and Peachy Clean: fruity whitening fluoride toothpaste that's vegan, cruelty-free and enamel-safe, made for kids and adults alike. If someone in your house finds mint too strong, rotating fruit flavours can make the twice-daily routine feel less like a chore. Brush with grape-ness, as we like to say.
A quick word on "whitening": whitening toothpaste works by helping to remove surface stains, such as those from tea and coffee. It doesn't change the natural colour of your teeth.
The same thinking applies to haircare. The XHC No Rinse Conditioner 3 Pack gives you Cherry & Almond, Dragon Fruit & Vanilla and Mango & Coconut in 250ml bottles, so you can switch scents through the week. It's a vegan, sulphate-free and cruelty-free leave-in conditioner made for curly, afro, dry and damaged hair, infused with argan, avocado and olive oils.
When a bundle isn't the best buy
We'd rather you buy the right pack than the biggest one. A bundle is poor value if:
- You won't use it up in time. Toothpaste tubes usually carry an expiry date, so check the pack and use the oldest tube first. Our guide to whether toothpaste expires explains what the date means.
- You're trying something for the first time. If you don't know whether your family will like a flavour, or your curls will like a conditioner, a smaller pack is a cheaper experiment.
- The price per item isn't actually lower. Not every multipack is discounted, ours included. At the time of writing, the Nice Smile Feelin' Grape pack of 2 was £14.90, exactly two singles at £7.45. That pack is about convenience, not saving. For a wider look, see whether multipacks are cheaper.
- You have nowhere to put it. An overflowing stock cupboard leads to forgotten, doubled-up purchases.
How to choose the right bundle for your household
Match the pack size to how quickly you actually get through things. As a rough guide:
| Your household | Toothpaste | Haircare |
|---|---|---|
| Student or living alone | Nice Smile 3 Pack | XHC Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner Set |
| Couple or flatmates | Nice Smile 6 Pack | XHC Argan Oil Shampoo Twin Pack |
| Family with children | Nice Smile 12 Pack | XHC Argan Oil Shampoo 3 Pack |
| Curly, afro or dry hair | Any Nice Smile bundle | XHC No Rinse Conditioner 3 Pack |
Start small, then scale up
Not sure which flavours will be a hit? Start with a smaller mixed pack, such as the Nice Smile All Flavours 6 pack with six different flavours, and see which tubes empty first. Once you know your household's favourites, move up to a bigger bundle and a lower price per tube. You can compare every multipack side by side in our bundles collection.
Buying for children? The NHS recommends a smear of toothpaste for under-3s and a pea-sized amount for children aged 3 to 6, with the right fluoride level depending on age. Check the fluoride level on the pack, and ask your dentist if you're unsure what suits your child.

The bottom line on value bundles
Value bundles make sense for anything you use every day and will finish before it expires. They lower the price per item, cut down on emergency top-ups and, with mixed flavours and scents, keep the routine interesting. Check the price per item, pick a pack size that suits your household, and let the bundle do the saving.
Frequently asked questions
Are value bundles always cheaper?
Usually, but not always. Most of our bundles cost less per item than buying singles, but a few small multipacks are priced at exactly the single price multiplied up. The quickest check is to divide the pack price by the number of items and compare it with the single price.
How long does a toothpaste bundle last?
That depends on how many people brush and how much toothpaste they use. Tubes usually carry an expiry date, so check the dates on the pack, use the oldest tube first and choose a bundle size you'll comfortably finish in time.
Is the Nice Smile 12 pack suitable for children?
The Nice Smile range is described as fluoride toothpaste for kids and adults. The NHS recommends a smear of toothpaste with no less than 1,000ppm fluoride for children under 3, and a pea-sized amount with more than 1,000ppm for children aged 3 to 6, so check the fluoride level on the pack. Your dentist can advise if you're unsure.
